First Time Buyers

Buying your first home is exciting, but it can also be quite overwhelming. We help thousands of first-time buyers each year move into their dream new homes, so you know you’re in safe hands.

Step one – Give us a call

Being a first-time buyer, you will probably have a lot of questions. We will help guide you through the process every step of the way, explaining what you need to do and when.

On your first phone call, we will tell you

–       How much you can borrow

–       How much deposit is needed?

–       How much your monthly repayments will be

–       What purchase price you can look at

–       If any Government schemes are available

–       A suitable mortgage lender and rate to match your needs

Step two – Get a Mortgage in principle

Once you’re ready, we will arrange a free mortgage in principle also known as a decision in principle. It provides an estimate of how much you could borrow from a lender. You’ll need to show this when making an offer on a property.

Step three – Book your mortgage appointment

It’s time to book your mortgage appointment with one of our expert advisors. Once your application has started, we’ll look after you throughout the whole process. We will even help arrange your home insurance and life cover to keep you and your family protected.

Step four – Get your mortgage offer

We do all the hard work for you to get your mortgage. You get a dedicated Customer Liaison Manager who will liaise with your lender, Solicitor, Builder or Estate Agent, to keep you updated until you move into your new home. We are on hand seven days a week to give you all the support you need.

Step five – Complete!

Congratulations, it’s time to move into your new home! Our five-star service doesn’t stop there. We offer regular reviews of your mortgage and protection policies. This will make sure you are always getting the most suitable deal. If your circumstances change, just contact us, we are always here to help.
